Sam's High Frequency Murasama blade by alucard27 Sam's High Frequency Murasama blade by alucard27
Well, been extremely busy, but finally had time to take a pic of the newest addition to my extensive prop arsenal

Very pleased with it. Used a basic boken and went to town on it basically. Sanded it down, detailed the guard. Etched all the details, added the button and rivet details (old ZOIDS toy and hotglue, respectively). Primed, painted, viola! In hindsite, I realize I mispelled the name of the sword, but oh well, I can live with it. Still a very lovely sword (sorry about the blurry angle on the one shot, but wanted to get a good view of the details)

I won't give it away for those who haven't played, but this sword has a fascinating story behind it in the game. After learning it, I just had to have it in my collection. Also, I wanted a slightly better looking sword to wield at the upcoming Motor City Comic Con. If I feel like it, I'll make Monsoon's Tactical Sai as well

Also fitting as Sam's DLC comes out tuesday (I'm REALLY excited about it :P)

It was more of a compliment on the craftsmanship then a actual offer, plus when it comes to things like this self made is the right way

Hmmm, I saw a sharpened steel katana that was treated to have a dark red blade. Now I'm having ideas. :D
