Well, as Christmas is fast approaching, and the new year, I've been contemplating what I'll be doing next year.

Before I get to next year, in the more immediate future, new pics of two DMC cosplays I dont do much will be done as soon as I can..lol I have one planned variant i'm sure some of you will really like...if it turns out right. What is it? You'll just have to wait

On a side note, Dragon Agerigins is an amazing game (as far as i've gotten at this point anyway..lol). The character designing is fun to the point you could spend hours just doing that, the story is great, and the gameplay isn't that hard to get into for a non-rpg gamer. The graphics are movie quality, and summed up, it isnt surprising this won best RPG of the year. No surprise, I'm waiting to see if anyone cosplays anything from this..lol

(Back to topic) Well, I have plotted out which costumes/characters I definately wanna do in 2010. Funny enough, my new and upcoming projects will relate to this. More on that later.

1) Dante's DMC4 Devil Trigger costume (i am very proud of it, hence, it must be done)
2) Beyond the Grave (Gungrave)
3) Deadpool

The Punisher, DMC2 Dante, and DMC4 Dante with Lucifer and Pandora (thanks in advance to for Pandora ^^) are likely, but the main list is just the must-haves. Moving on..(you'll like where this is going..i promise)

As you may know, I had every intention of doing the anime version of Beyond the Grave. However, it just looked a lil too plain for my liking. Soo, I am very tempted to make his battle suit. That's right..the "cowboy outfit." Not making the coffin..but the main outfit has a good chance of being done since i have plenty of time. So that is kinda exciting Not sure which will be harder: the jacket or the holsters. I know the hat will be easy enough. At any rate, it's looking like next year is gonna be a cowboy year...dante's western style outfit from DMC4...now Grave..where does it end?! lol

Now to that lovable mercenary Deadpool. This was gonna be another "easy cosplay." Then I stumbled upon some rather awesome fanfilms on Youtube featuring the merc with a mouth..and decided that the comic costume was worth a shot. I figure i can get it all together by Motor City Comic Con...down to the green glowing thingie on his harness

As per 's Comedian, I may give Rorshach a shot too. Bunji Kugashira's outfit from Gungrave Overdose is a mebbe too. In the future, I may even give Sparda's true form (as seen in DMC1 and in the iconography of DMC4) a shot..but that very very far on the horizon. If I ever get the wig, Pip from Hellsing will get done too. And I may do Zero or Kaname from Vampire Knight to compliment when she's Yuki (with that giant scythe)

Well, tis the season...and it just snowed today...so yeah. Early Merry Christmas to whom it may concern

As you've no doubt seen, finally got mah wig. I was soooo happy to finally get it..tho it is hard to see through the bangs..XD Grave is lookin good, and DMC2 Dante has a distinct possibility of making an appearance since the wig works rather well for that also. (made a great new devID too..lol)

Speaking of DMC2, I started the repair on that Rebellion that was damaged somehow in storage (no idea how still). Just need to let it dry, repaint, and it'll be good as new. As I've decided to retool the DMC4 devil trigger, the DMC2 one is on the shelf. The main retool revolves around the leg armor..still debating how i wanna do that. Got two ideas...either gonna be hockey pads or heavily adjusted boots. We'll see which works (or which one i go with)

Also, I have found another costume that I may give a shot. Bunji Kugashira's outfit from Gungrave Overdose. [link] (this pic was REALLY hard to find btw) Rather obscure, but I like the design..hence there is the distinct possibility you may see me give it a go. The only thing i'm really concerned about is getting the one eye to glow red (yes, i wanna do that for real )

Well, I've gotten a lot done..so a journal update is in order.

The Cerberus guns from Gungrave are done, so that is exciting. The turnout is great..and they are freakin huge..20 inches each! I'm just waiting on the wig. I can adjust the coat later..all the important stuff is done.

As this year draws to a close, i can't help starting to plan cosplays for next year. As of now, I'm sorting the costumes i really wanna do, and mebbes. Here's what i've got thus far.

At any rate, prob gonna need to rework the leg armor..any ideas would rock)


A lot will depend on weapons rules and such...so we'll see. Some of this will be interchangable depending on that. On a related note, that reminds me I have to fix Rebellion cos somehow i managed to damage it in storage >< Shouldn't take too long..just a hassle :/

In other news, as I've run out of props to do for now, I've tried a new project: figure sculpting. As I'm sure you've seen, Lady from DMC4 was the first, and turned out rather well. Shall I try my hand at converting a figure into Bloodrayne? If i can't do so, i may commission someone to do that Cos Rayne is awesome

With winter definately knocking at our door, cosplay pics will be fewer, but I do have a couple planned. I'm gonna prob do the DMC2 devil trigger for fun and see where it goes (tho i have to make the hand gatling gun first..lol). When Grave is complete, you better believe that I'll be doing pics of that Otherwise, the jury is out on what my future pics will be.

That's about all for now. I have a few props i'm going to be selling, namely Benehime (Urahara's sword) from Bleach and Sparda (sword form) from DMC1. Let me know in a note if interested.

...all the stuff i've gotten done lately

First off, I am proud to report that the DMC4 Dante devil trigger is finally finished! I'm happy with the turnout and relieved that the project is done. Also glad i got 's Esther rosary and 's pic done

I'm sure it's clear that lately i've been rockin and rollin on my list of stuff to do. I have the Cerberus guns from Gungrave in one piece..but with the dropping temperatures, painting will take much longer. >< Oh well...at least the bulk of the work is done

The two present costumes i'm kinda working on are coming along nicely (Beyond the Grave and Pip, Gungrave and Hellsing respectively). I ordered the Grave wig the other day, so that is exciting. I have a lot of altering ahead of me on his damn trench coat...but in the end, it will be worth it. Pip is nearly done aside from some details on the shirt and getting the wig (that is out of stock sadly..so i must wait) It's definately nice to have a slight break from DMC..lol Also, may do Zero from Vampire Knight next year..since m'lady is doing Yuki <3

Since most of my main stuff is done, i've been brainstorming what to do next. I have to do some paint touch ups on a few things...and make the sword harness for the dmc2 costume that i've been putting off...but those are all minor things. Sooo...i'm half tempted to do another trigger. This time, the DMC2 one..cos while it's lesser known..that thing is freakin sweet. [link] Any costume that has a gatling gun attached to one of the hands is definately worth consideration. Granted, this would require more FX makeup and such...but it just might be worth my time. Also, it might possibly be a good con costume..as movement wouldnt be an issue like with the other two (especially dmc4). Feel free to comment (unless they are dmc2 hate comments..lol)

Well, has informed me that I have 12,000 views, so t'was time for an update ^^ (thanks for showing me how to screencap ) Thank you all for the watching, comments, favorites, and support

Well, updates...yes..lessee...oh! For starters, since Alucard is retired now, i converted his guns to second pair of Ebony & Ivory (for photoshoots mainly..and cons that allow airsoft). The result is satisfactory, so i will call this a success

I am presently working on Ifrit from Devil May Cry 1. I like the design, and it is very neglected in the cosplay world..hence, i made it. As it is hard to nail down the color, i am going to play the artist's interpretation card and will paint them aged Gold.

Other projects I have begun are my Grave costume from Gungrave and Pip from Hellsing. I started Grave's glasses and Pip's Hat recently, also buying a pair of green pants for the latter. The Cerberus (grave's guns) is on the waiting list as those are some serious guns...cannons...lol

There are some minor adjustments i gotta make to several articles of clothing, but that shouldnt be too hard.

In other news, I was pleased with the test run of the DMC4 Devil Trigger. Can't wait for the full outfit to be done

Have a surprise in mind for m'lady too <3
